“As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common, everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful.” – Laura Ingalls Wilder
Grateful indeed. A few weeks ago, I was invited to the Snead family homestead to capture their new adventure. Uprooting your family and cultivating a new way of life is no small feat, but this sweet family has done so with a joy that is palpable. Tucker, Sam, and Jackson are the kindest little gentleman and the magic they are experiencing- running free as birds, exploring God’s creation, and learning the value of hard work- is immeasurable. Oh, what a joy it was to step behind my camera and document all the goodness tucked away in this acreage!
On another note, Kelsey and Nate are launching their new business, Graze Company, in the upcoming weeks. With cut flowers and free-range chicken and pork- their mission is to bring wholesome food to your dinner table and to reconnect you with the food you eat. I feel so blessed to be capturing their story through words and pictures and can’t wait to share more!
