Hi, I'm Ana! A Film Wedding Photographer & Brand Strategist based in Des Moines (but always ready to travel)! I love hanging out at my farmhouse with a coffee in hand & puppy on my lap or traveling the country with show tunes on blast. If you're anything like me, you want to live a meaningful life. Vibrant memories. Deep connections. Strong faith. Lasting impact. So how can a wedding photographer & brand strategist like me help you? In more ways than you think.
I believe that beautiful photographs and intentional brands have the ability to impact generations. The photographs from your wedding are passed down as an example of unconditional love. Your brand is a tool you can use to bring joy & light to the world. How amazing is that?
Whether it is timeless wedding photography or customized brand strategy, I'm here to make sure your story is captured beautifully.
Traveling with my camera in hand is just about as good as it gets but traveling to document love stories is even better. I'm always down for an adventure & would love to capture your wedding, even if its across the country.
Mitchell & I have been together for six years and are tying the knot in November.
We danced the night away at homecoming and have been best friends ever since.
Mitch is the most hardworking, steadfast, & playful person I know and I'm so excited to finally be his wife.

He's a rambunctious French Bulldog who loves to sit on the front porch & munch on blueberries. I was never much of a dog person before adopting this little guy & now I'm a completely smitten dog mama.
I'm a city girl who moved to the country & never looked back.
Sipping coffee on the front porch, eating vegetables straight from the garden, and taking walks out by the pond are some of my favorite pastimes.
Two scoops on a waffle cone, please! I look forward to my annual cone of butter pecan every summer during our family trip to Arkansas. You'll also find a pint of Jeni's Brambleberry Crisp in my freezer.
I could watch it on repeat & the soundtrack is amazing.
Also, my fiancé can quote all the good parts which makes me love him even more.
It's my mama's maiden name! I've always gone by Ana (pronounced Anna) but my sentimental heart loves carrying on her name.
Especially if they are from Anthropologie or Madewell.
My closet is 75% dresses and I'm constantly adding to my
Ana Leigh Photography was established during the summer of my nineteenth year. I started photographing food & quickly fell in love with capturing people instead. I worked a corporate job for one year after college graduation & then quit to pursue my passion full-time. It is truly a dream come true.
